Peony Registry

Parentage: Serenade F3 seed from 1983 APS seed exchange. No seedling number. First bloomed 1985. White, frequently with pale pink flush (thus the name). Stamens, pollen, seeds, faint fragrance. One bud per stem, reliable, excellent substance, good bloom. It takes about 3 years to see the correct bloom, a large, fluffy, full double. May have single, semi-double, and double blooms all on the same plant at the same time, especially when immature. Stems 30-35″, strong, ,but bend under weight of seeds. Early bloom, vigorous. Matures into beautiful blooming plant.
