Seedling number 2-25-2. Parentage not given. First bloomed 2013, first propagated 2014. Early blooming DOUBLE flowers are powder pink with a darker pink interior glow and darker pink flares on the base of the inner petals. Flowers are 17cm (7”) in diameter, upward facing, and average one per stem. Guard petals are frilled. Fragrance noted. Flowers possess on average three green carpels with pink stigmas of normal anatomy. Stamens are more than 2cm (0.75”) in length. Fertile both ways. Plants reach 95cm (37.4”) at maturity, and carry broadly pointed, green foliage with undertones of purple. Foliage at time of emergence is red. Growth habit is upright; mechanical support is unnecessary. Presents good potential for cut-flower production. Named for the Latin phrase which translates to “deeds, not words”.
