Mid-season blooming SINGLE flowers are a moderate pink, 19cm (7.5″) in diameter, upward facing, and average one per stem. Guard petals are flat and notched, and are typically 7cm (2.75″) in width. Fragrant. Flowers possess on average five to six sparsely hairy, fuchsia-colored carpels with yellow stigmas of normal anatomy. Stamens are more than 2cm (0.75″) in length, with pale-yellow filaments that turn to a strong purplish-red at the tips. Fertile both ways. Sheath is partial, pink in color. Plants reach 90cm (35.4″) at maturity, and carry narrow-pointed, green foliage. Foliage at time of emergence is green. Growth habit is upright; mechanical support is unnecessary. The new growth is a long green branch, exhibiting strong growth and a high rate of flowering. Flower and leaf coordinating well.
