Early-midseason blooming SEMI-DOUBLE to DOUBLE pink flowers with ruffled, frilled petals that present a light pink blurred petal edge. Color fades to a blend of pink and light pink. Flowers are 13-16cm (5.1-6.3”) in diameter, outward facing, and average one per stem. Bud size is 4cm (1.6”). Three very hairy, green carpels with pink stigmas are present. Has pollen, and readily produces seeds. Plants reach 60-70cm (23.4-28”) at maturity, and carry broadly pointed, green foliage with undertones of purple. Growth habit is upright, vigorous, and does not require mechanical support. Possesses good potential for cut flowers, and is a nice garden plant. Named for a creature of Roman mythology.
