Early red, seedling of Tamate-Boku. Other parent unknown. Brilliant red double of medium size with a good plant and strong stems, 30 inches. Some blooms of Japanese type flower form with outer staminodes narrow and pointed. No filaments. Carpels pale yellow. (3) Stigmas overcast with red. Disc.—an almost imperceptible pale green ridge.
