Early blooming SEMI-DOUBLE to DOUBLE flowers are pale-yellow, 13cm (5″) in diameter, upward facing, and average one per stem. Guard petals are cupped, rounded, lightly notched, and average 5cm (2″) in width. Fragrance noted. Typically, carpels are transformed to petals, however when present, flowers typically possess two tomentose, cream-colored carpels with pink stigmas of normal anatomy. Stamens are less than 1.25cm (0.5″) long, with pink filaments that transition to a pale-yellow color at the tips. Staminodes are also present, oblanceolate and spatulate in structure, with coloration identical to that of the outer petallage. Produces pollen, seed fertility has not been noted. Disc is apparent with a few projections, pink in color. Plants reach 61cm (24″) at maturity, and carry broad-pointed, green foliage. Growth habit is upright, and mechanical support is unnecessary.
