Seedling number 3-17-1-253-2. Parentage not given. First bloomed 2013, first propagated 2015. Midseason blooming DOUBLE flowers open dark pink, then fade to a blend of light and dark shades of pink. Flowers are 16cm (6.3”) in diameter, outward facing, and average one per stem. Guard petals are frilled and ruffled. Flowers possess on average three very hairy, green carpels with pink stigmas of normal anatomy. Stamens are more than 2cm (0.75”) in length. Fertile both ways. Plants reach 76cm (30”) at maturity, and carry broadly pointed, green foliage with undertones of purple. Foliage at time of emergence is red. Growth habit is upright; mechanical support is unnecessary. Presents good potential for cut-flower production.
