Officinalis hybrid, chinensis X Officinalis Otto Froebel. Very early single. Color, scarlet red with orange tint. Bud round, stem long and stiff. Foliage narrow and light green. No odor. Result of chinensis seed crossed by pollen from officinalis Otto Froebel.
Note: Awarded the American Peony Society’s Gold Medal in 1946.
