Seedling Number UY07RW01121601. Parentage P. lutea x “Xue Lian” (P. rockii hybrid). First bloomed 2016, first propagated 2019. Very late blooming SEMI-DOUBLE flowers are yellow, 15.25cm-18cm (6-7″) in diameter, upward facing, and average one per stem. Guard petals are ruffled and notched, and are typically 7.5cm (3”) in diameter. Fragrance noted. Red-maroon flares with bleeding edges transcend approximately 25% of the petal length. Five to twelve moderately hairy carpels are green with cream colored stigmas. Stamens are between 1.2cm and 2cm (0.5”-0.75″) in length; filaments red in color. Produces pollen, no seed fertility noted. Sheath is partial, and cream-yellow in color. Plants reach about 89cm (35″) at maturity, and carry broadly pointed, blue-green foliage. Growth habit is upright.
