Back to RegistrySeedling Number 30-7 Parentage: ‘Qing Tian Lan’ x P. lactiflora. First bloomed 2022, first propagated 2023. Late-season blooming SEMI-DOUBLE flowers are white (RHS NN155B), 15cm (5.6″) in diameter, upward facing, and average one to three per stem. Fragrance noted. Guard petals are notched, green in color. Young buds are pink, then turn green. Flowers possess four smooth, light-green carpels (N155C) with light-green stigmas (N155C) of normal anatomy. Stames present, less than 1.25cm (0.5″) in length (coloration 5D). Fertile both ways. Disc is apparent with few projections. Plants reach 80cm (31.5″) at maturity, and carry narrow-pointed, green foliage. Growth habit is upright, and mechanical support is unnecessary. The coloration of the outer petals was suggestive of the name, taken from classical Chinese song lyrics.
