Peony Registry

Seedling number 56-82B. Parentage: ‘Fuchsia Jazz’ x ‘Century Snow Drift’. First bloomed 2017, first propagated 2018. Midseason blooming SINGLE flowers are white heavily shaded in green, are 7.5cm (3″) in diameter, upward facing, and average one per stem. Guard petals are cupped, rounded, frilled, notched. No fragrance noted. Carpels are typically five in number, smooth, and green in color with white stigmas of normal anatomy. Stamens are less than 1.25cm (0.5″) long, with filaments uniformly yellow in color. Produces scarce pollen, and seed fertility has not been noted. Disc is well-developed, and white in color. Plants reach 81cm (32″) at maturity, and carry narrow-pointed, green foliage. Growth habit is upright, and mechanical support is unnecessary.
