Seedling 2003-21. Parentage unknown. First year bloomed 2003, first propagated 2003. SINGLE. Red. Four flowers per stem, size 18 cm (7 inches). No fragrance. Has pollen, produces seeds. Height to 80 cm (32 inches), with a spreading growth habit. Midseason bloom. Gunther is Lord of the Gibichungs, half-brother of Hagen, and murderer of Siegfried.
