Seedling Number 30-3 Parentage unknown. First bloomed 2023, first propagated 2023. Midseason blooming ANEMONE flowers are mid-pink (RHS NN74B), 17cm (6.7″) in diameter, upward facing, and average one per stem. Fragrance noted. Guard petals are notched, and average 6.2cm (2.5″) in width. Flowers possess three smooth, green carpels (N144C) with dark pink stigmas (N66A)of normal anatomy. Petalodes are yellow in color at the base, with purple-red coloration at the tips. (7D to NN14B). Fertile both ways. Disc is well-developed, and pink in color (NN74B). Plants reach 80cm (31.5″) at maturity, and carry narrow-pointed, green foliage. Growth habit is upright, and mechanical support is unnecessary. The festive coloration and hairpin-like projections of the staminodal disc were suggestive of the name, taken from classical Chinese song lyrics.
