Seedling Number: Yanwo-Seedlings-2023-19. Parentage: ‘Tian Shan Hong Xing’ x ‘Mini’. First bloomed 2016, first propagated 2019. Late season blooming DOUBLE flowers are white, 18cm (7″) in diameter, upward facing, and average two to three per stem. Violet-red flecks occasionally appear on petal edges. Fragrance noted. Guard petals are rounded, flat, and average 4.8cm (1.8″) in width. Flowers possess four moderately hairy, green carpels with red stigmas of normal anatomy. Stamens are less than 1.25cm (0.5″) in length; yellow in color. Fertile both ways. Plants reach 90cm (35″) at maturity, and carry broadly pointed, green foliage. Foliage color at time of emergence is green. Growth habit is narrow-upright; mechanical support is unnecessary. Named for its staminodes, which exhibit a beautiful golden color. Named for its white petals, like the bright moon.
