First bloomed 1962 Parentage. Generation—BC-1; Golden Hind x F2 (B). Soft yellow radiates as the morning light casts on it. Double, three rows of petals creating several circles in a perfect order. Has pollen and seeds. Reliable. Good stem strength. Fragrant. (The Sun God). Seedling # D-123.

Note:  Appears to be mixed up in commerce with ‘Wings of the Morning’.  ‘Wings of the Morning’ has “naked anthers” (waxy without pollen) and ‘Helios” will have pollen bearing anthers.
