Back to RegistryParentage unknown. First bloomed 2006, first propagated 2006. SEMI-DOUBLE form. White flowers are borne 1 to a stem, 5½ to just under 8 inches in size (14-20 cm), out facing. Prominent flares of dark purplish pink (RHS:186A), extend 35% of the length of the petals. There are 7 carpels on average, green, moderately hairy. Stigmas creamy yellow with slight green undertone, fertile. Pollen-bearing stamens, filaments pale purplish pink to near white at the base, darkening to deep purplish red at the tip. Sheath partial, fragmented, occurring as discreet projections from the disc and extending only about half way the height of the carpels. Has fragrance. Height at maturity 63 inches (160 cm). Named by Qin Kuijie and Li Jiajue, the name inspired by the combined presentation of the flower, the prominent flares and the stature of the plant.
