Seedling WV-VS-9-2. Parentage: ‘White Vanguard’ x ‘Vanilla Schnapps’. First bloomed 2011; first propagated 2013. Full double. 3 flowers per stem, 5 inches (12,5 cm) in size, fragrant, blooms midseason, 5-7 days after Red Charm. Flower heads appears open flower like seen with ‘Carnation Bouquet’, Full double flowers with a warm combination of pastel colors with soft pink and yellow, in young stage the flower might have some green tips on its petals. Stem length of 27 inches (68cm), dark green healthy foliage, flowers might need support when they’re in full swing, Named after the Roman ‘Imperator Caesar Augustus’ which was founder of the Roman Empire and its first Emperor, ruling from 27 BC until his death in AD 14. The Reign of Augustus initiated an era of relative Peace known as the Pax Romana (The Roman Peace). Imperator Caesar Augustus was bought as seed from Bill Seidl in 2009.
