Early-Midseason blooming ANEMONE flowers are pink with yellow petalodes, are 12cm (4.75″) in diameter, upward facing, and average two per stem. Fragrance noted. Guard petals are cupped and rounded, and average 4.2cm (1.65″) in width. Possesses four five smooth, yellow carpels with pink stigmas of normal anatomy. Seed fertility noted. Plants reach 60cm (23.5″) at maturity, and carry broadly pointed, green foliage. Foliage color at time of emergence is green. Growth habit is upright, and mechanical support is unnecessary. Named for Jiang Nan, the region south of the Yangtze River where the cultivar has been grown with much success, along with the phrase ‘jin fen’, refers to the golden yellow color of the petalodes.
