(Kelway, 1897) 5.0 Single. Very large, Tyrian pink, midseason. Carpels hairy, with bright red tips; disk very inconspicuous, dark pink. Plant large, quite compact; flowers very numerous, rather close to foliage. A Japanese Josephine is also described.
