Seedling No. UHS 28. First year bloomed 2015, first year propagated 2016. Parentage not given. Early Midseason to Midseason bloom. DOUBLE. One bloom per stem, size 5 inches (13 cm). Pale yellow. Three or four rows of smoothly rounded guard petals, 1½-2 inches (4-5 cm) in width, held cupped. Inner petals smaller, notched and ruffled. Average of 2 carpels, cream colored, very hairy. Stigmas pink, normal anatomy, but fertility not determined. Pollen-bearing stamens visible, filaments yellow. Staminodal disc consists of a few white projections. Strong fragrance. Early foliage emerges green. Upright growth habit, height 26-28 inches (66-71 cm), support not needed.
