Two or three rows of guard petals, rounded, held cupped. Inner petals smaller, notched, ruffled, ivory or colored pink streaked with ivory. Carpels absent. Pollen-bearing stamens interspersed among the petals, filaments yellow. Staminodal disc obscure. Fragrance. Early foliage emerges green. Upright growth habit, height 26-28 inches (66-71 cm), support not needed.
