Double type; very large; early midseason. Light old-rose-pink, with narrow collar of creamy pink of delicate transparent texture; strong rose-like fragrance. Tall; free-flowering; wiry stems. Excellent foliage. A compact, globular flower at first, with incurved, overlapping petals like LE CYGNE, developing a plumy crown later. It would be better if the stems were stronger. “Rather slow in becoming established.”—Thurlow.
