Seedling Number: PP2013-7. Parentage: ‘Virgilijus’ open pollinated. First bloomed 2018, first propagated 2019. Midseason blooming, ANEMONE form flowers are a deep purplish-red (RHS-61B), imbued with a lighter shade of vivid purplish-red (61C). Flowers are 18cm (7″) in diameter, upward facing, and average two to three per stem. Fragrance noted. Guard petals are rounded, and average 2cm (0.75″) in width. Flowers possess an average of three strong yellow-green (144C) carpels with light yellowish-pink (159A) stigmas of normal anatomy. Petalodes present a light purplish-pink color (65B), with a yellowish edge. Seed fertile, no pollen. Plants reach 120cm (47.25″) at maturity, and carry narrow-pointed, green foliage. Foliage at the time of emergence is purple. Growth habit is spreading, and does benefit from mechanical support. Name translates to ‘Lithuanian Light of Happiness’.
