Peony Registry

First bloomed 2006, propagated 2008. Grown from species seeds. SINGLE. Dark black-red flowers are borne one to a stem; 5.5 cm in size (2¼ inches). Three carpels on average which are very hairy and topped by clear red stigmas having normal anatomy. Pollen bearing stamens but no seeds yet observed. Finely cut foliage is typical of the species. Average height to 12 inches. Named for the originator’s first grandchild.
