Parentage ‘Feng Dan Bai’ open pollinated. First bloomed 2014, first propagated 2019. Early blooming SINGLE flowers are white (RHS NN155D), 18.5cm (7.2″) in diameter, with flat guard petals that are 5.5cm (2.2″) wide, are outward facing, and average one per stem. Fragrance noted. Seven moderately hairy carpels are a light yellow-green (144D) with purple-red stigmas (60D). Stamens are more than 2cm (0.75″) in length, with filaments reddish-purple at the base (N74B), and brilliant green-yellow tips (5B). Fertile both ways. Sheath is red (180C), and complete. Plants reach 82cm (32″) at maturity, and carry broadly pointed, green foliage. Growth habit is upright. Flowers, white like snow, are bright and dazzling. Stems are hardy, strong in appearance, and plant is suitable for planting on barren hills.
