Peony Registry

Very early bloomer, one of the first of the Chinensis varieties to bloom, ahead of Edulis Superba and Helen. Blooms a week earlier than Laura Dessert which it resembles in color, though distinctly different, with a stronger yellow center. Color between wax yellow and primuline yellow. (Ridgeway) Pleasingly scented, prolific bloomer. Flowers of good size, borne on strong stems well above a compact, shapely plant of rich, dark green. Fine landscape variety also suitable for cut flower.
