Peony Registry

Double type; large; midseason. Very large, perfect outer petals of heavy substance, cupped, smoothly overlapping, and graduated to a fine rose-bud center; no stamens; pure white in effect, but has faint traces of pink and a slightly greenish yellow cast on outer petals and in the depths at the center. A scarce sort. The flowers observed were very fine, but no description of the plant’s habit is available.
