Three rows of petals, purple magenta, petals cupped, rounded, notched. Stamens present, pollen absent. Filaments cream at the base, pink at tip. Average of 4 carpels, green, very hairy. Stigmas pink, normal anatomy, no seeds. Sheath magenta, near complete. Not fragrant. Early foliage emerges burgundy, matures to green. Typical Itoh Group foliage. Upright mounded growth habit, height to 30 inches (76 cm).
