Mid-season . A medium dark red (several shades darker than Longfellow) flower with some stamens showing. It has a decided sheen. Tall, from 48 to 50 inches. Leaves dark green starting near the ground. Stems are erect, stiff and strong. No fragrance. Strong grower and free bloomer.
