Seedling K3-Z. Parentage: ‘Northrepps’ x ‘Grand Massive’. SEMI-DOUBLE TO FULL DOUBLE flower form. Early season flowering. Slight fragrance, pleasant. Pale yellow, medium-sized (15 cm, 6 inches) flowers, 3 per stem. Slightly ruffled guard petals of palest yellow, measuring 6 cm (2½ inches) in width, are unmarked by flares. Crinkled, spatulate staminodes of palest yellow. Stamens with pale yellow filaments exceed ¾ inch. None, or up to 3 sparsely haired gray-green carpels with dark red stigmas. Seeds. Stems at least 85 cm (34 inches), spreading, needing support; pointed, medium to broad leaflets. A variety defined by its subtle flower-color, the elegant softness of which enhances rather than diminishes its appeal.
