Seedling number 5-6-1. Parentage not given. First bloomed 2013, first propagated 2015. Early-midseason blooming DOUBLE flowers are pink, 14cm (5.5”) in diameter, outward facing, and average one to two per stem. Guard petals are frilled and ruffled. No fragrance noted. Flowers possess on average three very hairy, green carpels with pink stigmas of normal anatomy. Stamens are between 1.25-2cm (0.5-0.75”) in length. Fertile both ways. Plants reach 65cm (26”) at maturity, and carry broad-pointed, green foliage with undertones of purple. Foliage at time of emergence is red. Growth habit is upright; mechanical support is unnecessary. A fine garden subject.
