Received March 01, 2017. Seedling No. IS1. First year bloomed 2010, first year propagated 2013. Parentage: ‘Martha W.’ x unspecified Lutea Hybrid seedling. Midseason bloom. Pinkish-plum SEMI-DOUBLE. One bloom per stem, size 7 inches (18 cm), no fragrance. Guard petals rounded, lightly crenulated, held cupped, width about 2 inches (5 cm). Petals grading smaller towards center, becoming increasingly notched, and finally strap-like near center. Center petals creamy pink. Stamens sparse, sterile. Generally 4 carpels, green, moderately hairy. Stigmas creamy pink, normal anatomy, presumed sterile. Early foliage emerges burgundy, matures green. Upright slightly spreading growth habit forms a mounded plant. Height 34 inches (86 cm), support not needed.
