Double type; large; late. Horizontal guards about a compact, ball-like center, later the guards relax, giving the flower a distinct cylindrical shape. Rich flesh-pink, creamy in the collar, and all petals slightly greenish at the base; strong rose fragrance. Stiff, heavy stems. The above description was prepared from direct observation. Other writers call the color silvery pink, much like that of JEANNOT. It is said to water-log sometimes.
