Parentage unknown. First bloomed 2009, first propagated 2009. Flower form SEMI-DOUBLE. Deep Purplish Pink flowers (RHS: 73A) are borne 1 to a stem, 6⅜-8¼ inches (15-20 cm) in size, up-facing. The flowers have dark purple, sharp edged flares extending 20% of the length of the petals. Pollen bearing stamens, the filaments are deep purplish red (RHS: 71A) at base, gradually fading to white at the top. Flower exhibits progressive stamen transformation and some stamens occasionally show a partial expression of this in having widened anthers. Carpels are pale yellow-green (RHS: 8D), sparsely hairy, average 5 in number. Stigmas are pale yellow-green (RHS: 4D) and fertile. Fragrant. Named by Zhao Renlin.
