Anemone type; large; mid season. Broad guard petals and a center of narrow, dull rose-red petaloids; the guards are irregular and undulating, arranged horizontally; tips of petaloids curled inward; carpels greenish white, with red tips and light pink granules at the base. Moderate height; vigorous; floriferous. Average foliage. Resembles HATSUEGI, a Japanese sort, but seems to be a better flower. Very distinct, with the unusual characteristic that the center is as dark or darker than the guard petals.
