Midseason blooming DOUBLE flowers are raspberry colored, 10-12cm (4-5″) in diameter, upward and outward facing, and average one to three per stem. Guard petals are cupped, rounded, and frilled. Fragrance noted. Flowers possess no carpels, but present short stamens that are less than 1.25cm (0.5″) in length. No fertility noted. Plants reach 80-90cm (31.5-35.5″) at maturity, and carry narrow-cut, green foliage. Foliage at the time of emergence is dark green in color. Growth habit is upright and spreading, but does not require mechanical support. The shape of the flower resembles that of a rose. Named for the brother of the originator.
