Peony Registry

Double type; large; early. The broad guards and irregularly incurved high center are bright crimson; only slightly fragrant. Tall; floriferous; good stems and foliage. Valued for its earliness and unfading color which is not without a distinct bluish tinge. Generally considered one of the best red sorts, although it is not always fully double.
