SEMI-DOUBLE, yellowish cream, fading white as it ages, the guard petals flushed with pink when fresh, 1 flower per stem, 6¼ inches in size (16 cm). Early season bloom period. Not fragrant. Early foliage on emergence from ground, green. Upright growth, height to 39 inches (100 cm). The name comes from Richard Wagner’s Opera “Rienzi.”
