Swenson Garden’s seedling No. RAGNIS-01. Parentage: ‘Martha W.’ x Anderson Lutea Hybrid seedling. First bloomed 2013; first propagated 2016. SEMI-DOUBLE. One flower per stem, 5 inches in size (13 cm). Magenta petals, the pigment concentrated in the veins on opening, then dispersing as the bloom matures. Dark purple flares to 20% of petal’s length. Average of 4 cream carpels, moderately hairy, topped with cream stigmas of normal anatomy. Stamens devoid of pollen, filaments cream throughout. No seeds. Sheath light pink, partial. Fragrance. Foliage typical for this type of cross, burgundy green on emergence. Height 24-26 inches (61-66 cm), upright mounded growth habit.
