Seedling No. RAISS 49. Parentage unknown. First year bloomed 2013, first propagated 2013. SINGLE, one flower per stem, 3-3½ inches (8-10 cm). Magenta, 2-3 rows of petals, streaks and flecks of purple throughout the petal with a dark red flare extending 30% of petal’s length. Stamens present, pollen absent. Filaments dark purple at base, yellow at tip. Sheath cream, complete. Average of 3 carpels, green, very hairy. Stigmas light pink, normal anatomy, no seeds. Fragrance. Early foliage emerges burgundy, matures to green. Typical Itoh Group foliage. Upright mounded growth habit, height 26-28 inches (66-71 cm).
