Peony Registry

(Kelway, 1890) 7.8 Single. Large, bright aster purple, midseason. Carpels sparsely hairy, with red tips; disk very conspicuous, pink. Plant large, compact; flowers held well above the foliage. An amaranth purple variety with cream-tipped carpels and cream-colored disk was also received under this name.
