Peony Registry

Parentage unknown. First bloomed 2019, first propagated 2021. Midseason blooming DOUBLE flowers are pink, 14cm (5.5”) in diameter, upward facing, and average three to five per stem. Fragrance noted. Guard petals are rounded and cupped, and average 5cm (2”) in width. Possesses smooth, light-green carpels with light yellow, feathered stigmas. No pollen, however, produces seeds. Plants reach 100cm (39.4”) at maturity, and carry somewhat broad, pointed, green foliage. Growth habit is upright and does not require mechanical support. Suitable for cut-flower production. Named for flowering in early summer with a sweet and dense texture like candy.
