Seedling number 5-18-2. Parentage not given. First bloomed 2013, first propagated 2015. Early-midseason blooming SEMI-DOUBLE to DOUBLE yellow flowers with ruffled, frilled petals. Flowers are 15cm (6”) in diameter, outward facing, and average one per stem. Bud size is 3.5cm (1.4”). Four very hairy, green carpels with dark pink/red stigmas are present. Has pollen, and produces seeds. Plants reach 66cm (26”) at maturity, and carry broadly pointed, green foliage with undertones of purple. Growth habit is upright, vigorous, but does benefit from mechanical support upon flower opening. Possesses good potential for cut flowers, and is a nice garden plant. Named with reference to the Roman god, Apollo.
