Seedling Number: Yanwo-Seedlings-2023-22. Parentage: ‘Fen Chi Jin Yu’ open pollinated. First bloomed 2022, first propagated 2023. Early-midseason blooming SINGLE flowers are light yellow-green with overlaid pink striations. Flowers are 9.5cm (3.75″) in diameter, upward facing, and average one per stem. No fragrance noted. Guard petals are twisted, and average 2cm (0.75″) in width. Flowers possess six smooth, green carpels with white stigmas of normal anatomy. Stamens are less than 1.25cm (0.5″) in length; yellow in color. Fertile both ways. Disk is well-developed, and yellow in color. Growth habit is upright; mechanical support is unnecessary. Named for its unique flowers, it captures the essence of exploring a secluded realm, making it suitable for traditional Chinese floral arrangements.
