Seedling Number: Yanwo-Seedlings-2023-15. Parentage: ‘Zhu Sha Pan’ x ‘Yang Fei Chu Yu’. First bloomed 2020, first propagated 2022. Early-midseason blooming BOMB flowers are violet-red, 14cm (5.5′) in diameter, upward facing, and average two per stem. Fragrance noted. Guard petals are flat, notched, and average 5.5cm (2.2′) in width. Flowers possess seven smooth, light-yellow carpels with pink stigmas of normal anatomy. Stamens are between 1.25-2cm (0.5-0.75′) in length; yellow in color. No fertility noted. Disk is well-developed, and violet-red in color. Plants reach 110cm (43′) at maturity, and carry broad-blunt, yellow-green foliage. Foliage color at time of emergence is red. Growth habit is upright; mechanical support is unnecessary.
