Seedling No. RASS L. Parentage not given. First year bloomed 2015, first year propagated 2016. Midseason bloom. SINGLE. Raspberry red. Flowers 4 inches (10 cm) across, with up-facing presentation. Petals notched, ruffled, cupped. Average of 5 carpels, green, moderately hairy. Stigmas cream, normal anatomy. Pollen-bearing stamens, filaments cream at the base, washed pink towards the tips. Sheath complete, cream colored, washed pink towards the tips. Foliage burgundy at early emergence. Upright growth, height to 24 inches (61 cm). Named to recognize Minnesota’s Lake Minnetonka (Minn-ni-tanka, meaning Big Water, in the Dakota language).
