Midseason blooming SINGLE flowers are raspberry-pink, 11.5cm (4.5″) in diameter, are upward facing, and average one per stem. Occasionally, petals exhibit cream-yellow striations through their centers. Guard petals are rounded, ruffled, notched, and average 5cm (2″) in width. Fragrance noted. Carpels are typically five in number, moderately hairy, and green with magenta stigmas of normal anatomy. Stamens are less than 1.25cm (0.5″) in length, with pink filaments that fade to yellow at the tips. Roduces pollen, however seed fertility has not been noted. Partial sheath, raspberry-pink in color. Plants reach 76cm (30″) at maturity, and carry narrow-pointed, green foliage. Growth habit is upright, and mechanical support is unnecessary.
