The huge, attractive buds, with heavy red markings open into extremely large flowers that are light and are fragrant. The immense, pink with a yellow underglow well textured, shapely blooms are convex—all the petals recurve which is the opposite form of most peonies. Top Flight is tall, and has strong, stiff stems and clean foliage. A refreshingly different garden subject, and we believe a collector’s item. Seedling # 407.
