SINGLE, pink, the overall effect achieved by dots of red pigment over a whitish base, whiter towards the center. Four flowers per stem, 6¾ inches (17 cm) in size. Stamens, pollen and seeds. Midseason bloom period. Not fragrant. Early foliage on emergence from ground, red. Height to 35 inches (90 cm). The name comes from a character (Daughter of Wotan) in Richard Wagner’s opera, Der Ring Der Nibelungen.
