Parentage unknown. First year bloomed 2009; first propagated 2009. Full DOUBLE. Flares are very dark purple, extend perhaps 15% of petal length, and for the most part are obscured in the depths of the flower. Petals purplish pink, fading at the edges, the pigmentation appearing to radiate out from the flares and thin out over a whiteish background. Petals have a silky gloss. Petals have multiple notches of varying depth, and as a result are much ruffled, in some cases frilled. Carpels light green, stigmas greenish cream. The sheath, yellowish green, only partially encloses the carpels. Stamens few, the filaments white but densely blotched with purple. Pollen normally scarce. No seeds. Has fragrance. Height to 65 inches (165 cm).
